Twenty Three Weeks Pregnant

Twenty Three Weeks Pregnant

My baby is kicking harder and harder and when he stretches his legs I feel how my bump stretches in awkward ways. Like a friend said the other day and he felt my baby bumps, I have a corner shaped belly not a round one.

My urinary track infection didn’t pass along just by resting and drinking more water, I had to take the injections my doctor recommended, but not the antibiotics. I’m still waiting for the urine tests results on Monday to see if I really need them. I heard babies that had to put up with a urinary track infection of the mother could grow less then those who’s mothers where healthy. So I rather take the antibiotics than harm my baby in other ways.

I had to go to a clinic to do the injections and they didn’t hurt, theoretically, right away, they hurt the next day, but when I had the bad luck to encounter a lady doctor, or nurse, that pushed the serum too fast and punched the needle too hard, it hurt. The other two doctors/nurses I met there, where more delicate and I didn’t felt ANYTHING at all, just the sore spot the next day as usual. I had six injections done and my behind feels sore and it hurts even when I walk.

I have to start working tomorrow, because I got plenty of rest, even if it didn’t help as much as I wanted, but people started complaining when I met my clients on the street and couldn’t care less I was sick, all they wanted was their stupid favorite coffee every morning.

I still can’t hear my baby’s heartbeat with a stethoscope as they say, which is frustrating, but I can feel him sometimes even when I’m standing up, so that’s excited.

Symptoms: I have some heartburn still and acid reflux, but I got used to them and I don’t care anymore. My headaches and back pain got worse the past week. I also felt very tired and exhausted probably because of the urinary track infection and also a little bit irritated because I have to pee so often and I have to go to my cold bathroom and sit on my cold toilet seat so frequent.
